Square or Rectangle?... Media Outreach Project

Hello, and welcome to my blog "Through a Child's Eyes". This blog is a Media Outreach Project that involves me taking a collective analysis of different articles helping me to help you delve into the mind of your toddler... scary right? Well with the help of this blog, I hope not. I do also wish to provide some new and useful information to you about how your little bundle of joy is learning Object Recognition which is defined as the ability to perceive an object's physical properties (such as shape and color)and apply semantic attributes to it (such as identifying it as an apple) and how this ability progresses and changes with age. You'll also find some pretty neat tips and tricks on how to nurture the learning process. By the end of it, we will hopefully, successfully help your child learn the subtle differences of a square from a rectangle or more importantly an onion from an apple!
